The Art of Slow Dating
For me, Datery is an extension of the slow living philosophy. It’s about moving away from "disposable" dating and "Netflix and chill" defaults, and moving toward intentional connection.
We often talk about slow fashion or slow travel, but we rarely talk about slow dating. To me, that means trading the rush for the ritual. It’s the choice to stop just "hanging out" and start truly dating again—whether you’ve been together for three months or three years.
What’s Inside
I wanted the app to feel like a curated toolkit for intimacy—simple, aesthetic, and functional:
300+ Date Night Ideas. Curated inspiration to help you break the routine, from quiet evenings at home to meaningful outings by the sea.
Questions for Couples. Because sometimes the hardest part of connecting is knowing where to start. These are designed to bypass the small talk and spark the kind of soul-baring conversations that actually stay with you.
Love Quotes. Small, daily anchors to keep the mindset grounded in appreciation and romance.
As a co-founder, I'm deeply invested in how this grows; we are constantly improving the app and working on new ways to deepen these connections, ensuring the experience stays as refined and helpful as possible.
A Human-Centered Approach
Technology should be a bridge, not a barrier. Datery is our mission to bring the human element back into dating—to create a "reels-free" sanctuary for your relationship where the only thing that matters is your shared experience.
It’s about making space for the things that don't happen behind a screen: eye contact, deep laughter, and the quiet comfort of being truly seen.
If you’re looking for a way to nurture your bond with a bit more intention, I’d love for you to explore what we’ve built.
